Easy setup, pretty good!

I grabbed the Business Phone System for my little consulting gig last month. Setting it up was way easier than I thought, just followed the steps online. The mobile app works great too, so I can take calls anywhere. It's been pretty solid so far, no dropped calls or anything. Made working from home much smoother.

Good service, minor hiccups

We switched our office over to Nextiva's VoIP Phone Service about six months ago. The call quality is consistently clear, and the team collaboration tools have really helped us out. I also appreciate that they offer 24/7 customer support; I had to call them once when I couldn't get a specific setting to work, and they resolved it fairly quickly. My only minor complaint is that setting up the Call Queuing initially took a bit longer than I expected, with some back and forth to get it just right for our needs. Overall, it's good value for the features we get.

Reliable for years now

I've been using Nextiva for our business communications for a few years now, starting with just the Business Phone System and later adding the Contact Center Software. This latest experience, when I upgraded our plan to include their AI Receptionist, was just as smooth as previous times. It's consistently reliable; I rarely have any issues with service interruptions, which is huge for us. The upgrade process itself was straightforward, and the new AI feature has been a neat addition, handling basic calls well. They've always been pretty dependable with billing and support too. That's why I keep coming back.

Hey guys, thinking about switching to Nextiva for our small business phone system. Anyone know if they let you keep your old numbers? That's a big deal for us.

J Jacob Hernandez 1 week ago
Yeah, totally. We ported ours over last year, took a bit but it worked.

They do! My company kept all our local numbers. Just make sure you initiate the porting process with them early on, it can take a few days/weeks depending on your old carrier.

Quick question about Nextiva vs RingCentral. Anyone used both and have a preference for a small office with like 5-6 people? Mostly just need good call quality and video meetings.

B Barbara Nguyen 1 month ago
I've used both at different places. RingCentral felt a little clunkier to me, but Nextiva's video conferencing was pretty solid. Call quality was good on both, honestly.

Nextiva has a lot more AI stuff now, which is kinda cool if you're into that. RingCentral is fine, but Nextiva felt a bit more modern for our team.
